The second volume of the research topic consists of 8 high-quality papers to provide new insights into breeding approaches, precision phenotyping, nutritional aspects, and biotic and abiotic stress resistance to understand and improve the fundamentals of these highly important cereals to generate climate-smart crops. The studies reported in this Research Topic (Volume II) arrive at the right time to nurture scientific evidence for millet and sorghum research and development, products and promotions.
