Location

The Faculty Center of Ecology is situated in UZA I (University Center Althanstrasse I, Althanstrasse 14, A-1090 Wien). Please note, that the campus is huge - the University Centers Althanstrasse II, III, and IV as well as the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien) are located in the same site, too.

Arrival by public transport

Take the subway lines U4 or U6 to station "Spittelau", then get on the tram D either to stop "Liechtenwerder Platz" (Main Entrance 2) or "Althanstrasse" (Main Entrance 1).

Fare for one way: €1,80

Coming from Vienna International Airport (VIE):
Take the municipal railway S7 (S7 time table 2010) to station "Wien Mitte",  then subway line U4 to station "Spittelau". Finally get on the tram D either to stop "Liechtenwerder Platz" (Main Entrance 2) or "Althanstrasse" (Main Entrance 1).

Time of travel: about 50 minutes
Fare for one way: €1,80 (railway) + €1,80 (subway, tram)

Going by taxicab from VIE you arrive at the Faculty Center of Ecology within 30 minutes.  The cabdriver will stop in front of main entrance 1 (see the graphic above), if he is given the address Althanstrasse 14, 1090 Wien.
The fare is around €32,-.

Arrival by car

There is a short-term parking zone around the campus, you can park there for the period of max. 2 hours. If you want to park your car for a longer period, you can do so in one of the pay-garages underneath the campus (WIPARK-Garage Wirtschaftsuniversität). They can be entered either from Althanstrasse or from Josef-Holaubek-Platz (look for " Universitäten, Innerer Ring", then for "WIPARK"). After leaving the WIPARK-Garage, enter the building of the UZA I through the garage "Biologie". You are then located in level 1 (Ebene 1), hallway 4 (Spange 4) of the UZA I.
